Money - It's Not What You Think It Is
How Do We Fix All the Major Economic, Social, and Environmental Problems Impacting the World Today?
Few would dispute that the world is facing many problems, most of which can be traced to insufficient money. That applies to all manner of social, environmental, and economic problems, for which no adequate solutions have yet been found.
I would argue that the reason is baked into the current financial ecosystem. It is not designed to solve those kinds of problems. To understand that, one needs to understand where our money currently comes from, who creates it, and why that creates scarcity for most of society. (See this 4-minute-video for a quick understanding).
Fortunately, as that video explains, we are not helpless. We can solve those problems if we simply know how and have the courage and will to put that solution in motion. That is what this book is all about. In it you will discover what that simple solution is and the kinds of problems it will solve.
To give you a taste of it, many in the below list are partially or fully solvable today! And ALL of them are solvable with a small change to tax regulations! (See this 2-minute-video.)
Problems That Can Be Solved and Eliminated by We The People Issuing Our Own Money
| Extreme Poverty | Food Insecurity | Blight Remediation | Lack of Basic Income |
| Lack of Free Health Care | The Housing Crisis | Stop Residential Foreclosures | Stop Plant Foreclosures |
| Food Deserts & Need to Encourage Locally Grown Food | Insufficient Child, Elder & Invalid Care | Need to Offset Job Loss Due to AI & Other Factors | Lack of money to support the arts, science, technology and more |
| Environmental Degradation and Need for Environmental Cleanup | Bad Actor Corporations Who Abuse their Employees, Customers, Communities & the Environment | Excessive Consumer Debt, including Credit Cards, Education Loans, & Medical Expenses | Lack of money to support the arts, science, technology and more |
| Lack of Free College & Trade Schools | Small Business and Small Farm Closures | Lack of Fully Funded Infrastructure Programs | Lack of Full Funding for Small Businesses & Nonprofits |
| Insufficient Clean Energy & and Too Much Fossil Fuels | Lack of Fully Funded State and Local Governments | And Much More… |
As ambitious as the above sounds, it is quite doable, if the people just knew how and made the decision to implement the system described herein. The pieces are already in place, both structurally and legally, and it only needs the courage to do something with that knowledge.
